This is by far the most rewarding and exciting foreword I have written for The Quarter Club. Firstly, this year we will have completed and achieved our financial support for athletes attending the Beijing Games. Secondly, and most importantly is my need to acknowledge fellow Members of The Quarter Club who have successfully built a unique concept of combining philanthropy, business to business and lifestyle activities that ultimately contributes to the amazing sporting culture in our great country. Finally, and as a result of our successes, it is my pleasure to introduce to you an exciting long term succession plan with the launch of THE QUARTER CLUB’S EMERGING LEADERS’ MEMBERSHIP. This publication explains the concept in detail, but I’d like to just say that while we are very proud of our achievements so far we are also now in a position to build and educate a powerful group of “youngies” to continue our work and The Quarter Club concept for years to come. Quarter Club members will be given first right to nominate an Emerging Leader for membership. I look forward to joining with you in making 2008 a memorable and rewarding year.
